NANTYGROES smallholding

About Us

Ian and I met on a Christian School Building project in Tanzania, in 2010. Two years later we were married and developing our dream in South West Wales.

Our aim is to develop a smallholding which enhances the countryside whilst producing meat, eggs and produce following mainly organic and traditional methods.

Our livestock are outdoor reared using stocking rates and methods which encourage biodiversity. We are keen to breed rare or traditional breeds.

Our smallholding has a variety of natural habitats to encourage birds and mammals

 • traditional hedge, bank and ditch field boundaries
 • small streams
 • wetland
 • wildlife pond
 • developing woodland

Red kits, Buzzards and heron visit daily.
